How have I been using Angular for this long and not ever seen this?

In the child component class, we define an input and output property. The output property name must be the input property’s name with the suffix Change at the end.

How have I been using Angular for this long and not ever seen this? I’ve been implementing the ControlValueAccessor interface whenever I need to support this functionality. Is that no longer necessary?
