About six months ago, I asked a commercial AI service called WriteSonic to write an article for me, explaining the benefits of using Ionic and Angular to build a mobile application. The results were “mixed,” at best. With all the hubbub surrounding ChatGPT, I decided to try again and see if I got some better information.

The Prompt

To use ChatGPT, you start with a prompt. The UI is conversational, so you can ask for refinements, clarifications, corrections, etc. as you go. I started with a simple prompt:

Give me a list of 10 reasons to use Ionic and Angular to build my next mobile application

This is how it responded.

Ionic and Angular are both widely used, open-source frameworks that are well-documented and supported by a large community of developers.

Ionic is built on top of Angular, so if you are already familiar with Angular, it will be easier for you to learn Ionic and get started building your app.
