In 2009 I was fortunate enough to be selected for a limited preview of the latest book by Drs. Michael and Mary Dan Eades, titled The 6-Week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle: The Simple Plan to Flatten Your Belly Fast! Be sure to read my subsequent reports from Week 2, Week 3, and Week 4.

I followed the plan for five of the six weeks. I didn’t stop early because of a problem with the plan. On week 6, my family went on vacation to Walt Disney World, which completely derailed the final week. As you will see, however, the results were pretty impressive.

The book arrived and I eagerly dived right into it, finishing it late Friday night. The idea is simple: If you are middle-aged and have a lot of visceral (internal abdominal) fat, you’re in greater danger from this fat than just simply being overweight. The plan described in the book…
